The 2010 Mid-America Bodybuilding & Figure Championships are a INBF/WNBF sanctioned event. As such, the following information will apply:
Classes - All Amateur and Professional Bodybuilding classes will be organized by weight. Professional classes will be announced on the day of the show. In addition to weight classes, Amateur classes will include a masters division. FIgure and Fit body classes will be organized by height. (The contest promotors reserve the right to adjust the classes leading up to the show)
Bodybuilders Posing Attire - Posing suits for the prejudging portion of the contest must be made of a solid color, opaque, and devoid of embroidery, stripes, or other embellishments. Accessories, including jewelry are NOT allowed during prejudging. At the Finals, accessories and props attached to the body may be used.
Bodybuilders Posing Routine Music - At the night show, bodybuilders will have 90 secs in order to perform a free posing routine. During this time, competitors are expected to bring their own music. Music must be recorded onto a CD to be given to the DJ (two copied must be provided), the music must be cued to start and must be of good quality. Music may NOT contain any profanity. Competitors in more than one class will pose at the night show only once.
Figure & Fit Body Posing Attire - Two piece suits and heels are required. NO thongs may be worn. Music will be provided by the DJ. There is NO one piece round.
Eligibility - This competition is open to all physique athletes who have NOT at any time during the 84 months prior to the day of this event, engaged in the personal use of anabolic steroids, or any other growth enhancing drugs, diuretics, or pro-hormones. All competitors must be of amateur status (must NOT have received any cash prize from any bodybuilding, figure or fitness organization).
Entry - Entry fee to the Mid-America Amateur competition is $45. A crossover fee of $30 will be charged for every additional class a competitor competes in. All competitors must hold a current INBF membership card (cards can be purchased the day of the show for $40 and are good for a period of 1 year). All competitors are required to take a polygraph to ensure that banned substances have not been used. The polygraph fee is $40 and is paid directly to the polygrapher by the competitor at the time of the test. The entry form can downloaded using the link at the top of this page. Entries must be postmarked no later than JULY 15th, 2009. All entries postmarked after this time will be required to pay a late fee of $50, NO EXCEPTIONS. Entries are nonrefundable.
Venue - The 2010 Mid America Pro-Am will be held at the William Henry Harrison High School in Evansville IN.
